Sorry it's been so long since I posted anything. I don't really have an excuse we just haven't been doing anything exciting lately. We did go on a mini vacation to Lake DeGray I only took a couple of pictures because we were either in the lake or the pool the whole time!
Anyways this post is about Ava :) I had an Ultrasound today and Dr. Kinder said she is perfect! She weighs 3lbs 2oz witch is about 3 more ounces than Bradley was at this point. I don't remember what Leslie weighed. I just know with every pregnancy after Bradley this is a milestone that I am happy to pass. I was having horrible lower back pain the past few weeks but this week seems to be better. Now it has just switched to bad headaches when I lay down. I guess its an inner ear thing?? I forgot to ask the Dr about it, I was so glad to know that everything is okay with her that I forgot to ask.
The placenta has also moved up..YAY! We were worried about it because at my 17 week ultrasound it was covering my cervix which is very dangerous for me and the baby and I would have to definitely have to have a c-section which I do not want to have!
She is head down and will most likely stay that way until she is born. I also got to see that I was right about her position and her feet are on my right side. I swear I will have internal bruising from her strong kicks, and I'm sure they will get stronger! It is funny how I couldn't wait to feel her move, now when I lay down at night I hope she goes to sleep with me so I wont be getting jabbed in the ribs. But I would rather feel her move all the time than not.It was so fun to see her on the ultrasound screen. I actually saw her smacking her lips and sucking. Here are some pics of her.
She is smiling :-)
