Bradleys 8th Birthday
OMG I am a bad mother!! I totally forgot to post pictures from Bradley's Birthday party!
We had a pool party and Gmaw & Papaw's house. The kids had a blast! Gmaw and her creative self made the cake. It was a Lego themed party so his cake looked like Lego blocks.
I decided to be creative too and I made a Lego Pinata! It was very sturdy...or should I say unbreakable by young ones. Needless to say all of the kids got to whack at it a couple of times each until they got restless and just wanted the candy already!! LOL So it was Papaw to the rescue. It only took him 2 or 3 good hits and goodies were flying!
Yesterday was Carter's Birthday Party but since they live in Colorado now we didn't get to go. The kids were so sad they had to miss their cousins Bday party. I think this might be the perfect time of year to go visit to beat the "Louisiana Heat". We might do that next summer.

Summer Vacation
Me and my mom took the kids to Six Flags, Hurricane Harbor and Tyler zoo for their summer vacation. They had a blast. It was really too hot for Six Flags but Hurricane Harbor was really fun.
It was so funny. Leslie was scared of all the characters in costume except for the Joker!! lol

Fun Saturday :)
Today I got to keep Carter man for a few hours. We had so much fun! He is such a good boy. It was so funny to listen to him and Leslie have "real" conversations. They cracked up the whole time we were in the car. When we got home Oscar came running up to the car and was barking, of course, and it really scared Carter. So the whole time he was at our house he stayed in Leslie's room on her bed! He was very happy there! Lol So we took lots of silly pictures. For some reason, out of the hundred pics I took, I could not get them all to look at the camera at the same time. Must be really horrible for John & Kate...if it is still John&Kate (tune in Monday to find out there big news!)LOL The kids and I love that show!!

Honeymoon Cruise May 2009
After being married 7 1/2 years we FINALLY took our honeymoon and it was wonderful! We Took a 7 day cruise out of New Orleans to Key West and then to Nassau Bahamas!
Our first stop was Key West it was pretty cool I'll have more pics with us snorkeling later after I develop the film...been years since Ive actually had prints made lol
Next stop was the Bahamas! It was so fun! Lots of places to shop and wonderful beaches! I will also have another pic of us holding a sting ray when I get around to scanning it :/

We got to spend 2 days there but it just wasn't enough!
The last two days at sea on the way home were pretty harsh. I had to ask a stranger if they had an extra sea sickness patch I could have. It helped a lot. I never actually got sick but the boat was swaying so bad it was hard just to walk down the hall much less sleep. By that time it was Thursday night and my homesickness and missing my babies sunk in and WE were just ready to get home..In the end it was a wonderful vacation for the two of us to just get away from everyday craziness of work, school, house work, bills, ect. But we are sure glad to be home with our kidos. Bradley was a little upset that we didn't take him so were going to do a little weekend trip to Gulf Shores at the end of the summer for the kids :)

Looking at old photos
Oh my goodness. I was looking through old photos on the comp and in my photo box, by the way it really needs organizing..(hey aunt Jaime), and I found so many old pics. Most of the ones I have of Bradley are actual pictures. I guess we must have gotten the digital camera around the time Leslie was born. I thought I would post a few random old pics I though were cute. I put some on my Facebook page too....I have noticed that I have been through many different hair styles and colors..lol

I haven't blogged in a while so I'm gonna just ramble on a bit like I usually do :)
We went to the Great Wolf Lodge a couple of weekends ago (Thanks to Gmaw and Papaw) and we had a BLAST! I am sorry we didn't take any pictures because we didn't want to have to keep up with a camera. I think Leslie had the most fun.lol She talks about it every day. She acts like I wasn't there and tells me everything she did and saw. It's so funny. She also tells Gmaw every time we see her " We went to the water park. It was fun. Its called the Great Wolf Lodge! We got to swim and I went on the big kid slide...Bradley was even scared at 1st I went before he did! Me and Mommy jumped over the waves while Bradley and Daddy rode the big big blue slide. They wouldn't let me ride because I'm not taller enough yet." The cutest thing she said is "next time when we go tomorrow I'm gonna bring gmaw and papaw and Tyler Jarret" yes she has a boyfriend. He's in her daycare class..She wore the dress that he got her for her birthday yesterday and she made sure to tell everybody that " Tyler Jarret got me this dress"...too cute.
I think Leslie has allergies like big brother because she coughs all night and her face looks swollen in the morning and as soon as we walked outside to see my yellow pollen covered car she sneezed massive snot all over both of us!! Besides the pollen all over my car...another thing I love about spring is the Bugs!! Man how I have missed getting attacked by mosquitoes! And why do they call them June bugs? We obviously need to change it to March bugs! Every year me and my friend Carrie(who is terrified of June bugs) have the same conversation of how they come sooner every year. We also have B52 buzzers aka the hugest bees you've ever seen. We'll be sitting on the porch watching the kids play in the yard and they make an oval shaped path and its right in front of your face. Jackson just says don't move and they wont sting you!! HaHa Ok I'm sorry! If a dang missile with a stinger is flying towards my face I'm gone!! I think that is one of my worst phobias is Flying insect..wasp, bees, June bugs, mosquitoes, any of those bugs that swarm around the light outside.lol Oh yeah and Spiders! not the small ones or grand daddy long legs. But the big hairy spiders we get outside and sometimes in the house. They look like brown Tarantulas! Really fun when your naked in the shower and one is crawling by your foot! Yeah you will notice you can move alot faster than you ever thought you could. Well I'm going to head to bed now. I hope everyone has a great week and I hope to post the pics from Leslie's birthday soon. :/ yeah what Jaime said. To find the time....and if I had it I wouldn't feel like it! LOL!

Where does the time go?
I am sorry it has been so long since I've posted anything. As most of you know I have started school. I am going to Bpcc to be an Art teacher. There just doesn't seem to be enough time in the day! I am trying to manage a full time job, full time school, and full time mom & wife.
When I get overwhelmed I just look at my beautiful family and think about how blessed I am.
I thought I would just post some random pics that I love :)
